Payday loans are for someone who is short on funds and needs money to get them through until payday. There are several important pieces of information that you should know before you agree to accept a payday loan. There are some risks that you take by giving your personal information out. Beware of scams to get your information and avoid websites that are not direct lenders. Also, try to pay your loan back as soon as possible to avoid additional fees. But there are ways to meet your short term need for funds without compromising your personal information or getting into a deep hole of debt.
When people shop for payday loan lenders they often just do a search online and unknowingly get caught up in the bogus websites that represent themselves as lenders. However, if you make sure you read the fine print all of these sites must state “we are not a lender” on the bottom of their page. Do NOT put your information on these websites. What will happen if you do is your phone number and email is given out to lenders so that you are inundated with calls and emails; not to mention that some of them use your bank information unauthorized. The way to avoid this from happening is to use only direct lenders.
How can you tell if the payday lender is a direct lender? You can tell it is a direct lender by looking for a member login option on thier website. The actual lenders have a member option to go and check on your loan status while the affiliates do not have this option since they are not providing the funds and only trying to get information to sell to hundreds of lenders. Valid payday lenders will not give out your information and will only use it for thier own reference. Among these direct lenders there are some that are better then others. You should use one that allows you to pay the loan off early if you are able and will then charge you less interest if you pay them off early. Many of them will offer this; while some of them will still charge you the agreed upon fees whether you pay it the next day or two weeks from the time you take the loan.
If you are in need of funds to avoid things like having your cable shut off, bills being reported on your credit, or any others that cost you in the long run then the payday loan option may be worth the large fees paid to them. If you are just looking to get some extra cash that you dont actually need then it would be a wiser choice to save yourself the hassle of getting into an agreement that will cost you a high percentage and even more if you decide to extend the loan. Payday lenders make more money when you extend your loan so they make it really easy for you and you may fall into that pattern of extending the loan to put off paying the balance. That is how these lenders make such high profits. So to sum up; there are valid lenders that can help you get through to payday but just do your research and be cautious.

You can perform a reverse phone lookup to see who a particular number belongs to. A cell phone directory can also provide other useful information as well. It will tell you who the phone number belongs to—as long as it’s not a private listing—in addition to whether it’s a landline or cellular phone number, what county the phone number belongs to and which phone carrier issued the telephone number.
There are a couple of ways you can perform a reverse phone search. You can simply enter the 10-digit telephone number into a search engine or you can go to whitepages.com and enter the phone number in the “Reverse Phone” search box. Once you type in the telephone number, hit enter or click on “find” or submit, depending upon the method you are using to perform the search. The next page that loads will tell you who owns the telephone number, such as John Doe, or that the listing cannot be found. If using whitepages.com, it will give you other relevant information in regards to the phone carrier who issued the number and where the number is located.
If the phone number is listed online, it will show you the name of the owner and possibly an address. It may also pull up other pertinent information about the person such as age, location, possible relatives and other household members. There may be additional links on the page to find out additional information about the person who owns the phone number. These additional listings are usually not provided by the phone company and may cost additional fees.
When using a search engine, you may see who owns the phone number or it may pull up other related searches if that phone number was used on a website such as a sales website, a bulletin board website or other related posts. This can help you identify whether it’s a residential or business telephone number and what the number might be used for.
Do not use the reverse phone lookups for harmful or malicious purposes. If a number is harassing or pranking you, contact your local authorities. If you do not wish to have your number pull up in a reverse phone search, contact your local telephone company and let them know. They may give you options to have your number unlisted and unpublished. This will prevent others from looking up your phone number and seeing that you own the particular number. In this case, it would show that your phone number belongs to the particular area that you live in but it would exclude relevant personal information such as your name, age and address. This may be especially important if you are female and live alone or if you are a victim of a crime. Your phone company may charge an additional monthly fee to keep your phone number safe and private, but it’s worth piece of mind should the wrong person get a hold of your telephone number and decides to look you up.
